Dark therapy

“There were three of us in the darkness. My mind, my body and myself.” R. Novák

The darkness as such is space. It is neither good, nor bad, it is just present. It is like a screen to project a film on. Everywhere we go we bring our mind and our senses with us. However, in the darkness most of the senses become quiet. Everyday life is like a busy road – you will struggle to hear the sound of butterfly wings. Such a delicate sound it is. The truth about us is hidden under all that rush, hence meditation or the stay in dark gives us an opportunity to get to know who we really are. Until then, most of us are uninteresting for themselves.

After, the motto of the life is: “I will take care of you and find myself, aware of all the chaos which is covering the truth, and under which beatitude and love is hidden.”

The truth about the body is that we have it but we are not the body. The body changes in time whereas “SELF” does not happen. The truth about mind is that we have it as a part of the body but we are not the mind. Mind creates a personality but we aim to go beyond this everchanging personality. The truth about us is the truth about the observer who is present and who does not change. He is as perfect as he will ever be. Therefore, the truth about us is that we are perfect and there is nothing more to be achieved. It is just about realizing it. Everyone looks for perfection as if they were looking for a chair they are already sitting on. We have to realize that perfection comes with the return to our nature which is covered. Darkness is beneficial at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of a yoga journey. It is just up to you how you spend the time with yourself. There will be no-one but your friends, your mind, your body and yourself.
